A Love Letter to London

From The Economist:  London: A Precarious Brilliance

In praise of the world’s most international city.  I’ve always had a certain fondness for London for several reasons:

  1. London has the world’s best cab drivers bar none.
  2. London’s population is incredibly diverse.
  3. London is comfortably walkable.
  4. London has a mild (if rainy) climate.
  5. Londoners are famous for their good manners.
  6. London has lots of approachable history.
  7. London sits in a convenient timezone.
  8. One of their airports always seems to be on the way to somewhere else.
